Captain of Aster
Sci-fi-like fantasy novel with several surprising twists
Captain of Aster is an enthralling, imaginative tale about a courageous team of young galaxions who embark on a precarious adventure to recover a precious key. The book is an engaging, teen sci-fi like fantasy novel with several surprising twists and turns set in five interconnected galaxies, whose inhabitants love Nigerian food! Jidenna, the chief protagonist, though not without his faults, is an exemplar of a purpose-driven life. His errors make him more plausible and relatable as a hero and, along with his band of friends, the values of hard work, loyalty, collaboration, compassion, forgiveness and selflessness are demonstrated. This book is a page turner once you start reading it you will want to keep reading to find out what happens next.

Praise for Captain of Aster
This book is a page-turner! Once you start reading it you will want to keep reading to find out what happens next. The way the story ends implies that a sequel is in the works. It wouldn't surprise me if this story is made into a movie. Well done, Nnenna.
"I absolutely enjoyed 'CAPTAIN OF ASTER! Jidenna's journey was exhilarating, showing his growth and resilience. The book beautifully highlights the importance of friendship, intellect and self-confidence, making it an outstanding read overall. I can't wait for the sequel!"
The book is very nice and interesting to read. The graphics are captivating, I noticed that each chapter is begun with a rhyme and each character seems unique in their own way. The book screams ACTION! I personally read the book three times. I really enjoy "Captain of Aster" I think Nnenna Ochiche is a really good writer.
